We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer (NestJS) to join our growing engineering team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend systems and microservices using NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend applications.

Job Responsibility
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
Integrate and manage relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Implement and maintain message queues using Kafka or RabbitMQ
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams
Follow best practices for clean code, security, and scalability

Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications or equivalent practical experience will be an added advantage

Experience Requirement
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development
Proven experience working with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Prior experience with microservices architecture

Additional Requirement
Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns
Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
Knowledge of gRPC is a plus
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
